I’m a long time wrestling fan and this video features a wrestler who was real popular during the 1990s. Diamond Dallas Page (DDP) was a topcard wrestler for WCW and was a key player in a ratings war with WWE at the time. After WWE bought out WCW, he languished in midcard status in the WWE never being used to his full potential. Eventually he and the WWE would part ways and now a days he owns and operates a successful yoga program that produces tear jerking videos like the following.

“It’s me, it’s me, it’s D-D-P!”

If you thought Boom Goes the Dynamite Guy was bad then you are in for an wonderful treat.

I honestly cannot make up my mind as to who is worse. Both are reporting live and are also obviously quite green. On one hand Charles there kills it with his awkward cadence, blatant missed cues, and over usage of the word “guys”. Boom Goes the Dynamite Guy makes his report liquid feces by his constant stuttering, intermittent silence, and his horrible addition of the phrase “And boom goes the dynamite”.

Who was worse? The great debate continues!

It should be known that I am not a fan of emotional or touching movies. This isn’t because I’m a cynic, but rather because of how quick I am to let forth a deluge of tears at a moments notice. Pixar’s Up!, The Notebook, Kung Fu Panda 1&2, Finding Nemo, A Walk To Remember, Big Fish, Toy Story 3, The Karate Kid remake, and Mother Simpson (episode of the Simpsons) are all on a long list of things that are waging war on my manliness by making me weep in public.

That being said, I have decided that I will start posting scenes from television shows/documentaries/moives, web clips, or what have you that make me weep so you can share in struggle against things that are making me weep. If background is needed for the clip I’ll write a little diddy, if it’s pretty self explanatory (like the following) then all you need is a box of tissues and the courage to press play.

Alright so I might have screwed things up with my post-season MLB bracket just a little bit.

Things that went wrong in my bracket:

  • Orioles beat the Rangers
  • Tigers beat the Athletics (thus screwing up my World Series prediction)
  • Tigers beat the Yankees
  • Giants beat the Reds (also screwing up my World Series prediction)
  • Cardinals beat the Nationals and the Braves

I made some depressing and confusing updates to my bracket as you’ve seen up above. All I can say is I guess there’s always next year. Oh and screw Alex Rodriguez, Curtis Granderson, Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, and Russell Martin.

Your offense is bad! And you should feel bad!

In sports, a “homer call” is when an announce teams shows their home team bias while calling the game when typically, much like news reporters, the announcers are suppose to be unbiased and simply call the game.

However homer calls are not always a bad thing, in fact often time they are quite entertaining what with the passion and over the top emotion. It’s fun to hear the announcers root for their team but it’s even more hilarious to hear them despair when something truly egregious happens to their hometown heroes.

Above I present you with Exhibit-A.
